Every day the world is changing
science reaches into space,
from its studies it discovers
more about the human race,
yet with all its power and wisdom,
people still need love and faith.

Even though our skills develop,
children die because of hate,
want and need divide the nations,
ignorance decides their fate.
Thousands yearn for food and water,
fear destroys and strength dictates.

But we tell a different story,
of a God who loves and heals,
cares for all of his creation,
shows in Jesus how he feels.
We can see God’s power and wisdom
in the risen Christ revealed.

Now today we are his story,
through our lives his voice is heard.
Peace and hope and joy and loving
are the message of his word,
spoken by his faithful people,
sharing Jesus with the world.
